Wool baby shoes in green colour

Thanks to the high, elastic knitted upper, the baby shoes fit perfectly on the foot and do not slip. The baby shoes can be used as slippers and are also ideal as baby shoes for a carrier or stroller. The baby shoes are made of boiled organic virgin merino wool, which keeps your baby's feet always nice and warm.

Organic merino wool is truly "natural" and offers many advantages:

This garment is pre-washed and does not shrink.

For all "wool newbies": Don't be afraid of wool; wool is actually uncomplicated because it doesn't need to be washed - great, right? Go for it!

Care

We recommend using only natural detergents (e.g. disana, Ulrich, etc.) and NOT chemical detergents (all conventional types). Since the garment has not been chemically treated, chemical detergents will damage the natural wool fibers too much and the garment may shrink or pill significantly.

Wool hardly absorbs dirt; the surface of the fiber practically repels dirt. Therefore, wool clothing rarely needs to be washed; Airing is usually sufficient.

If wool clothing needs to be washed, wash it on a cold wool cycle (max. 20 °C) (without spinning or wringing). It is best to use wool shampoo to care for the fiber.

Washing machines have a tolerance of +/- 10 °C: at 30 °C, the washing machine can heat up to 40 °C, which is too high a temperature for wool. Therefore, the manufacturer does not assume any guarantee for washing in a washing machine.

When hand washing, make sure that there is NO temperature difference between the wash water and the rinse water, otherwise the wool will “shock” and shrink. Both should be at the same temperature.

To prevent felting, wool should not be soaked, rubbed, wrung or brushed. Then, while still damp, shape it into the desired shape and dry it spread out on a towel.

Do not dry wool on a radiator, in a dryer or in direct sunlight.

For care, we recommend applying a lanolin treatment (available from us) from time to time (either mixed with water and sprayed onto the product, or completely moistened). This is an emulsion for greasing woolen garments, which preserves the natural protective properties of wool. The treatment of wool also prevents static electricity, which slows down soiling.
