Material

• Outer fabric: 90% cotton from certified organic farming and 10% polyamide.
• Filling: 100% wool from controlled organic animal husbandry, virgin sheep's wool.
  Total proportion of organic cotton and organic virgin wool used (each from ecological production) on the cuddly toy is at least 95%, organic, certified by CERES 0105.

Why polyamide?
To ensure product safety for your child, a cotton terry cloth requires an additive of up to 10% polyamide. In this way, tear resistance is ensured so that no part of the cuddly toy can tear off and there would be a risk that filling could fall out from the cuddly toy and be swallowed.

Caring for the sheep

According to the manufacturer's instructions, wash at 30 ° C on a program designed for washing wool, without spinning or only at 200 revolutions per minute.

The cover can of course be washed more often than the filling. Wash the filling only if it is really dirty. This product is filled with naturally dirt-repellent and antibacterial sheep's wool. This natural fiber shrinks and shrinks at excessively high temperatures or when using aggressive detergents/soaps. Therefore, use a wool detergent that has a slightly moisturizing effect and cares for the wool fibers.

Do not rub, spin or wring when washing. After washing, gently squeeze the wool with a gentle squeeze and let it dry on an absorbent terry cloth or horizontally on a dryer for about two days. The wet smell of wool/animals is completely normal and will disappear after a few days!

Another tip: Experts believe that dust mites can sometimes nest in soft and fluffy stuffed animals. To prevent this, you can put the stuffed animal or doll in the freezer: Wrap it in a plastic bag and leave it in the freezer for two to three days. This will kill the dust mites. To remove their remains, wash in the washing machine according to the instructions above.
